Below we share a few of our favourite local haunts for you to enjoy during your stay.

For the adventurers

  • Just a 15 minute drive away from Antalya, you'll discover a concealed treasure and a globally renowned premier golf destination, the Barnbougle Links Golf Resort.

    Barnbougle comprises three courses – The Dunes, the Lost Farm, and Bougle Run. Crafted from the innate contours of the coastal terrain, both courses are meticulously designed to replicate the authentic links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, minimising the impact on the surrounding environment. Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Club and buggy hire is available.

  • 20 minutes from Bridport is Bridestowe Lavender Estate, a world-famous tourist destination that comes to life in December with wildflowers that bloom through until late January. This 265-acre manicured lavender field contains beautiful gardens that attract tourists year-round. Grab a scoop of lavender icecream and spend an afternoon walking amongst the fields!

  • Across the road from us you’ll find the iconic Old Pier Beach but if you’re wanting to hop across to a few other beaches in the area here are our top picks.

    • Mermaid beach

    • Croquet beach

    • Goftons beach (this beach is perfect for families as it has life savers present during summer alongside lifesaving flags).

  • Once a prosperous mining town boasting the world's richest tin mine and nestled amongst an untouched wilderness area, Derby has transformed into a hub for one of the world's top-notch mountain bike networks. Spanning more than 125km, this network features purpose-built trails tailored to all skill levels. Bridport (and Antayla) is only 30 minutes away from the town of Derby making it the perfect base for any MTB enthusiast.

For the foodies

  • It wouldn’t be a trip to Bridport without some takeaway fish and chips from Bridport Takeaway next door to the IGA on Main Street.

  • If you’re after an unforgettable dining experience head to Barnbougle (yes there’s more to just an incredible round of golf to be found here). The Lost Farm Restaurant and Lounge offers incredible views and a menu full of local produce. If you’re after more of a casual fare you can also enjoy a meal at The Dunes Clubhouse, or The Lost Farm Sports Bar.

  • If you want to enjoy a great meal without having to travel far we recommend St. Marks Bridport (home of Bridport’s very own distillery).
